Killarney is without doubt Ireland’s tourism capital… and it’s easy to see why. Scenery, history, flora, fauna and folklore along with a wealth of activities for all ages. The town and surrounds has developed in harmony with the adjacent National Park so you can enjoy the bustle of the busy town centre with the solitude of the Park only a stone’s throw away.
Killarney is a colourful town and has garnered a reputation for its fine restaurants and lively bars. Beyond this is an area of 25,000 acres of ancient woodland, rugged mountains and lakeland teeming with wildlife from the native red deer herd for which the Park is famous to the recently reintroduced White-tailed Sea Eagle… you never know when you might catch a glimpse!
